Mishack Uzoma Okonti, Esq is the Managing Partner of our firm. A seasoned Administrator with a degree in Public Administration from the University of Benin, where he also bagged a degree in Law before being called to the Nigerian Bar in 2006 upon completion of the mandatory law school program at the Nigeria Law School, Agbani, Enugu State.
Our Managing Partner went on to build a long and distinguished career in the Nigerian Civil Service, with stellar stints in several MDAs and parastatals including the National Directorate of Employment and the Universal Investment and Development Company (an MDA under the Ministry of Finance of the defunct Bendel State, and subsequently Delta State). He rose to the position of Deputy Managing Director and Secretary before retiring from the civil service in 2018.
Mishack Uzoma Okonti is the classical ‘Board-Room guru’ who entered legal practice upon retirement from the Civil Service and has built extensive experience in real estate, corporate governance and financial systems. He is nurturing, for our firm and for the benefit of our clients, a reliable team of seasoned professionals versed in financial systems, corporate receivership, contractual underwritings, mergers and take-overs, and capital restructuring, amongst others.
Mishack U. Okonti is a member of the Nigeria Bar Association, Benin Bar, and a member of the Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrators of Nigeria, and has participated in several conferences, trainings and capacity building programs.
